This has to be one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I was raised to never ask for money or take a handout because it is degrading. But I will do anything for my kids home, health and safety, even ask complete strangers for money. I will try to explain my situation without making this page too long.

I was fortunate enough to get a loan modification back in 2009 affordable payment lower interest rate Great right? No! 2 months after the modification was completed the position I held at my job was eliminated. Then my husband of 14yrs decided he wanted to live a bachelor lifestyle again, and marriage and fatherhood was not what he wanted anymore. So I not only lost my income but his as well. I have fought to keep my home and food on the table since then. Unemployment was not enough to be able to maintain feeding my 4 children, utilities, and mortgage. As a result I have a $57,746.96 arrearage on my home which includes their attorneys foreclosure fees, property taxes which are included in my payment, and the missed payments.
I have since finally found another job, although it doesnt pay as well as my last job but its a job and its more then I was getting from unemployment. I contacted the Mortgage company to find out what options I have regarding the $57,746.96 as they have a pending sale date of 5-1-2011. They will not do another loan modification and they say I am not eligable for a repayment agreement because I only have $189 left a month after all expenses. I asked them if they could put the arrearage on the back of the loan since I am now able to make the current mortgage payment but was shot down with that option also.
So since it has been nearly impossible to find a part time second job to generate extra income to be able to possibly do a repayment agreement, and May 1, 2011 is right around the corner as hard as this is for me I decided to make a plea to my fellow Americans. If your reading this and can find it in your heart to help me and my children save our home even if its $1 it all adds up. My hope is that I can get back on track and then pay it forward to the next person that needs some type of help.

Unfortunately I found out from a recent donation that
2.9% + $0.30 USD is charged when the money comes from a debit or credit card or PayPal Credit
(the sender decides who pays this fee).
